Alrigh, i'm getting a little pissed. I have a 2003 SVTF with about 60k miles. On and off since i bought it, around 40k the clutch will slip a little sometimes, but usually at highway speeds in 6th gear. I let the brake fluid get low enough for the light to come on pretty early, but not run out. not sure if this could have andthing to do with it. Does my clutch system need bled and if so how? Or could i just maybe need a new clutch? Any ideas would be great!

is there any type of spot on the drivers side floormat?
reach under the dash and grab the clutch pedal and run your hand up it. any fluid?
most common cause of brake fluid going low is a bad clutch master cylinder. it and the brakes use the same rsivoir.
if you don't find anything inside, look at the bottom of the tranny where the belhousing olts to the engine. if the slave cylinder goes out it will leak out in that area. only problem with a leaking slave cylinder is it contaminates the clutch lining causing slipping or sudden grabbing.

I'd bet a buck its the master cylinder tho, check the pedal for fluid.

Sorry for the delay. I checked the unit behind the clutch pedal and it was a little damp, enough to dirty my fingers a little, but not super wet. Does this mean anything?

I also wanted to add that for a while now i have not had to add any fluid. but, I looked around a litte better today. There was a little moisture on the master cylinder, enough to wet my finger tips a little. I could not figure out where the slave cylinder is with just the airbox out. I did howerver look under the car and where the bell housing bolts to the motor, it seems that there is some moisture. I could really use any help right now.

the slave cylinder is inside the clutch housing.
I'm still thinking its the clutch master cylinder tho since you said you've had to add brake fluid. is the carpet below the clutch pedal wet with a kinda oily feel?
sorry, but without being there to look, i can't be a whole lot of help except to guide you in what to look for.
the low brake fluid thing is usually a sign of a bad clutch master. try bleeding the clutch good once and see if it comes back, if it does your master is shot
