I have a suggestion for you - Call my buddy Dan in Service At Starkey Ford in York...Tell him Chelly referred you to him.  Maybe he can give you some advice.  He's really super about questions etc.  He can also check your VIN to see if you hvae any open Recalls etc.

Dan - Service Dept. Starkey Ford, York, ME - 207.363.2637

Other than that, I'd mention a few things:
1 - possibly an O2 sensor

2 - pull out your MAF Sensor and clean it as I've done before.  Just be very careful when you do...I used some alcohol and q-tips and gently cleaned them that way.

Dan's very helpful and he knows me well.

Barring something external from the exhaust system affecting the reading, it can be only two things.

1.  O2 sensor bad.  You have one before and after the Catalytic converter.  The one after the Cat checks that the cat is doing its job.  It could be that one of the O2 sensors is bad, most likely the one after the cat and the ECU is interpreting that as the Catalytic converter as being bad.  The issue I have with that is that the O2 sensors are tested by the ECU every so often and if it were going bad it should have triggered something pretty quickly.  If you have noticed fuel mileage taking a dump or your idle maybe a little different, take a look at the O2 sensors.

2.  Catalytic Converter is bad/clogged.  The cat could just be plain wore out and has indeed gone bad.  I would have to see your engine hooked up on a scan tool to be sure, and that just to rule out that one of the O2 sensors hasnt gone bad.

I wouldnt go long without fixing the issue though.  The reason being is that if the O2 sensor is bad, then your air to fuel ratios will be off and that will dirty of the cat prematurely.  If the cat is the part that has indeed gone bad, then if left to itself it will most likely take out the O2 sensor after the cat.

I replaced my O2 sensors last year as a precautionary measure and they ran me about $50 each.  Not too bad considering the price of some others out there.  If the cat is bad you could get  an OEM replacement fairly easy, but if you want some added performance you may want to look at getting a hi-flo cat.  Good luck.

Word it seems to run fine.....Ill look into the o2 sensors...If I get a new Exhaust does it have holes for the o2 sensors?  Like a aftermarket Monza or Greddy exhaust?

A new cat back exhaust will not have holes for the o2 sensors, only because they are not there from the factory, they are on the cat pipe itself. If you get an off road pipe or a new cat (either a hi flow, which I have, or a stock one), it will have the o2 sensor bungs attached already. At least all of the ORPs and direct fit cat that I've seen have them. Just my 2/5 of a nickel!

No aftermarket exhausts for the foci have O2 sensors in them.

If you are running without a cat and don't want the check engine light to come on you can get a MIL elimanator or an O2 cheater harness, the O2 cheater is better IMO.

Having a O2 cheater will not effect your gas milage or emission testing.

Ray at http://myfordperformance.com sells them for around $40.

That'll do it.  Now the trick is to put it all back together and get it back into the catalytic converter housing.

Let me see you snag that fly out of the air with your chop sticks.  :D

you should have mentioned this about Random Tech earlier. All aftermarket headers (except for 1 thay no longer make) I was told will destroy a stock cat fairly quickly. All you need is a hi-flow cat and your good to go again.

As for the air bag thing. Could either be a loose connector to one of the air bags or the air bag computer(under parking brake) might be messing up or unpluged.
