I have a 2000 Zx3 in my driveway that a friend of mine has blown the lower end of the motor and we are parting it out.  If anyone need parts, let me know and I will pull them.  Since there is a G2G at my place I can hold parts here for people that are going to be here to save on shipping.  It is a complete car and we are parting out the whole thing.

It is a 2000 ZX3 with 2.0 Zetec, the only thing that is dead is the block, I will be pulling the head to see how bad, but there are some nice holes in the block.  The body is in good shape and there are lots of parts on it.

Yes it is a manual.  Name the part and price and it is yours.  Or if you have a chance Scott, just stop and grab it.

I need a radio harness for the audiophile package so I can drive the subwoofer I have installed but I doubt the 2000 model has it.

Are there any aftermarket parts?  Particularly the cat back exhaust.  If it does and the price were right and it was in good shape I may be interested in that.

I also need a rear seat seat belt, mine is busted and I'd like to get that replaced.  I'll have to ponder if there is anything else I need, but Im sure I could come up with a few things.

Another 2000 blows out at the bottom.  This seems to be becoming an epidemic!

3rd one in as many months I think.

The radio harness is for the basic stereo, he has a Magniflow Cat Back, but he is going to try to fit it to the  new 2.0 Duratec and if it doesnow fit, that will be for sale too.  The seat belts are up for grabs. Which ones do you need?  So let me know.

The duratec's motor has the exhaust at the rear of the motor & not the front like the Zetec.

I also beleve that if he was or could fit the Zetec 'cat back' he would have to cut off the front flange and than peice it on and thereby also making it unsellable to a Zetec owner. I'm not positive but I think that may be the only way to fit it on.

Well we have tested the cat back on the new Duratec and it will not fit, just because the muffler is a bit to wide.  So we have a 6 month old Magniflow Cat Back for the ZX3-ZX5 2000-2004 for sale.  $200 OBO plus shipping.  If you are interested shoot me a PM and we can discuss it.

I really wish it would have fit the 2005, we hate to see it go:(

I need the drivers side rear seat seatbelt, let me know what you are willing to part with it for, I have no idea what they go for.  As for the exhaust, I'll have to check the funding, but I may be taking that off your hands.

Oh, I would also be interested in the E-Brake boot if that can be separated from the center console, the rear hatch cover thingy.  That cover that is attatched to the rear hatch and covers over the trunk area, if its the right color.

Are the tail lights all stock or are they aftermarket.  I wouldnt mind having the seats period depending on what they look like but the shipping on those would be monsterously expensive Im sure.

Has he got the early intake manifold?

Does this thing have rear disc brakes?  I could end up spending some money here before its all done, LOL.

Geeesh, I wish I was there with my tools, I could spend my paycheck Im sure.  I wonder if I got any stocks worth selling.  Oh wait I work for MCI ;ohno .

Anyway, I think I could use the Power Steering pump, Im not sure though as I may have been able to seal that leak with a treatment Ive been testing.

What about suspension parts, anything there beefed up that will be parted with.  I have the SVT suspension on the rear so Id be looking at any front suspension pieces.  Oh well, I'll quit there, Im salavating at the mouth thinking of all the possibilities.

SyntheticShield, As far as the seats they are sold, the taillights are stack, but the outside edges where painted black to match the car, it makes the lenses look smaller.  The powersteering pump is up for grabs and that can go for $50 plus shipping, and so is the seat belts, for $20 for the side you need or $40 for all three in the rear. Unfortunately the intake manifoly in plastic and the suspension is stock.

AudioJunkie, the wheels are the Stock 15" alloys, and 2 have slight curb rash on them. If he is interested in them you can stop by and take a look at them and we can talk price, but they can go cheap.

Definately hold the seat belt for me, I only need one that I saw the last time I checked.  The others are in good shape.  I'll find out if I can get the exhaust from you but Im definately interested in that as well, I'll try to let you know real soon.  The power steering pump I need to check and see if mine is still leaking, if it is then I'll probably take that off your hands too.
