All ZTW's should have the Zetec and SE's are mixed I beleve. Same with the sedans ZTS has Zetec and SE is mixed. No LX has a Zetec. Also there are a few models out there with no badging and it could be either.
If your looking at a 2000-2001 if it has a tach(reguardless of body style) it most likely has a Zetec and also fog lights are a tell tale sign altho some Zetecs don't have foglights and there are probably a few SPI's with optional fogs, but I know that the SPI wiring harness does not have fog light previsions on it.
2002+ is a crap shoot in determining a Zetec in reguards to having a tach and fogs. But I thill beleve in order to get a tach you need the Zetec but again not sure.
just in case you all want to know im looking for a donor car to donate a zetec and other parts and whereas the wagons can be found cheaply i thought i'd ask which ones have the incredible zetec power in them

most of the damaged wagons are probbaly the result of a minor fender bender. quarter panels and the like. but there cheap so if i can grab one i will and get me zetec power and power everything else too
