Well, I had to have the headliner replaced in our new 2006 SES Wagon. It had a crease where there shouldn't have been a crease.  The dealer did a good job on installation of the new liner, but should there not be a cross car rear molding where you open the hatch?? I can't remember.

The fabric of the headliner simply meets the weather stripping. No molding. Is this correct?

I will try to borrow my son's digital camera.  However, the questions is simply, does your wagon have a plastic molding from left to right where the head liner meets the weather striping, where you open the hatch?

Mine does not have a molding at this point. Just fabric meeting weather striping.

AJ 2 things.

First you have a 2000 and over the years Ford stopped putting things on the cars so your car will have the most on it. you have a fire blanked under the hood als othat most of the newer ones bon't have. also in 2002 the went from a 3 piece lower and side rear trim to a 1 piece design on the ZX3's

Second you have a ZX3 and it may or may not be differant than a Wagon headliner.

Rowntree, does it look as if there are places for clips to hold on molding?
