So for the long weekend I went away and its a fairly long drive being 2.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic. I came into the home stretch and I was on 93S right after the 293 merge in manchester. Well I was damned to see a cop walking out into the middle of the higway to tell me to pull over.. HAHA.. Yup, you guessed it, a trooper was shooting radar and nailed me. There was someone in front of me but I guess I looked better to pull over. Whatever! LOL
So he wrote the ticket for doing 80 in a 55, said i was doing 81 but was trying to save me some money. I thanked him and went on my way.
I'm not going to gripe and moan over it. I think its kinda funny that I haven't gotten a ticket sooner with how I drive. It's my own fault. Shouldnt affect my insurance too much bc I have a ticket thats clearing so this one will just take the place of it. O well. hahaha.

So how much was it. I know NH redid all there fines last year. A ticket in VT would be close to if not over $250.
I have seen them sitting at the 93N/101 split. I was driving that way once and they were standing in the road pulling cars over and I think they pointed at me but I got onto 101 and never found out but they did get the car in front of me that was staying on 93N.

$86.40 for the ticket. He claimed that he clocked me doing 81 and not 80 and that he could have made me pau 114.26 instead, so I was thank ful and went on my speedy little way. Was kinda cool he stopped traffic on the H.W so I could get back out. .aahhaha

that does not seemright at all. A few years back I got pulled over on 93N just after the tolls and goe a $78 ticket for 11 over. $83 for 25 over does not seem right but I would'n knock it.
Wild! Took off one measly mile 2 save u money. He should have taken off more. LOL Well, glad u will be ok. Becarefull next time, well be more carefull and good luck.
always the way it is... i've only gotten one ticket for speeding. it was on I-90 in NY... only about 10 miles from my exit. this was over 4 years ago though... i think i was clocked at 82 in a 65...stupid me.
but yours sucks more cuz that dumb section of highway should not even have a 55mph speed limit...everyone goes faster in that section.
Yeah, remember when you were givin me directions Tiff, and I got pulled over. I guess I got mad lucky huh? Jonny still hasn't put the picture of that up . Where are you Jonny?
The 'boys' love that spot. I see them there during the week. The have many 'hiding spots' in the area.
With all the driving I do I've leanrd to use other cars as 'RABBITS'. Let them haul ass ahead of me a ways, then I'll keep pace. Also I stay armed with a radar detactor (aka birddog). Always watch ahead for brake lights (as far up as you can see).
The fun thing to do is if you KNOW that a cop is sitting & waiting, get some dumb ass wound up and let him/her fly ahead of you. You can laugh at them as you drive by while they are handing license & registration to the cop. LOL
