Sorry I'm late in responding here - I'm from South Portland originally, lived in Portland most of my adult life though. I miss it madly! Manchester just doesn't come close to the atmosphere and openness of Portland. I miss the Old Port! Not just for the bars, but the Green Grocer has my favorite bread and cheese there!!!
