Actually, I did notice a slight change with my last car.

One of the most prominant things Dan and I found with the bars when trying to mount them was my car had driven just over a year+ a few months before I had mine put on and we actually had to lift the car on one side to get it to flex enough to fit.

I know the unibody construction and the close proximity to the firewall should remove or inhibit flex, but in all honesty, over time there is flex.

To each his/her own I guess, but I'll tell ya, those $20 Ebay jobs that have bolts etc. on them really are crap.

Oh, btw - another feature I'm loving about this car is how extremely quiet it is!  I'm loving it!!!:driv

Well, almost - need to get that pinstriping off, check the tint, get her registered (have to wait for the title to get into my CU), inspection and then get the other stuff put back on.

Problem - my FC strut tower bar no longer fits.  Haven't made a decision on what I'm going to do with it yet.

I think Id be interested in it, but Im sure its yellow and that wont go with my red theme unles I can get it repainted.

SS.

We actually had the bar painted at a shop when she had the rear wrap replaced under warranty. The yellow the bar came in was a noticable differance. The differance when you look at it you go "Ewwhttp://www..."

What something is that Chris?

Actually, I'm very happy with this car.  I'm completely blown away by the increase in power and it's still a 4 bangah...ya, I've driven 6cyl & 8, but just for the simple fact that this car responds immediately and with meaning is something I'm just thrilled with.  This without any mods yet either.

A couple of things. I'm glad you got another Focus, and I'm glad you got Yellow. My Focus is also Yellow. It's the 6th yellow car I've owned. I share your addiction.

I can attest to that Chelly w/ the new power. You where right about cruising @ 3grand on the tach and I was at 80mph and didn't even reliaze it. I love that 2.3L liter PZEV Engine. And now you and I have the only 2.3 on TFNE.:driv:driv:driv

I think somebody from Maine also has the 2.3L Alex. I remember seeing it at one of the g3gs.
