What a difference...My car drove pretty decent prior to the flash...Now it's even better.  Without boring you, my initial driving impressions are posted under SVT Performance http://teamfocus.mywowbb.com/forum16/2955.html.

that's because the ZX3 doesn't have a flashable computer. :)

Do you have to replace the whole chip with the ZX3?

If that's the case, you'd think there would be several chips out there?  If not a Diablo, SCT or someone.

There are a handful of them out there. But unfortunately the tuning that can be accomplished with what is available is not as flexible as the SVT one. I think SCT has the best option right now, but who knows. I've pretty much ascertained that it won't do much for a light to mildly modified MTX zetec, it can help the ATX folks since it adjusts shift points, but other than raising the rev limiter and removing the top speed governor not much is to be gained for the MTX from my reading.

That's a shame because SCT and others usually make pretty decent stuff.  I've used them in the past on my Contour SVT..it was a piggy-back chip or something.  Joe, you got to drive the SVT...it is even better now.  Think Spring!

I've been thinking spring since October :)

I can only imagine what that has done for your car. Here I am just trying to keep up with stuff breaking on mine...but man, oh man, I wonder what you'd get on a dyno right now?

I don't know...even if the h.p. doesn't show much change, it's been worth it just for the way the car's characteristics have changed.  It's a totally different car.
