Autocross CMC- Augusta Civic Center, June 19th (Father's Day) - Team Focus New England - Regional Forums - Team Focus - Come On In And Enjoy The Company!
it's probably about an hour and a half I wouldn't think any more, most
of these maps assume people actually drive 65mph. I'd say an hour
20 at 75mph average. From there it's about 20 minutes to Topsham
and another 20-30 to Augusta.
So if we meet in Yarmouth (Freeport, it's on the line) at 6:30 that
puts us in Topsham about 7:00 figure 20 minutes at Dunks, so 7:20 and
then 7:40 to 7:50 to Augusta, so we'll be conservative and say 8:00, I
think that might be a bit too early... we can push everything back a
half hour or maybe a bit more. I don't want the NH people to be
DOA.
Hey guys, I might show up to this event. Never auto-x'd in my life, thought I would start with my last car (2000 Grand Am GT) but never got around to it..always missed the Augusta events Now that I have an 05 Focus ZX3 (S model haha), I feel like I should push it to her limits between cones
Welcome to the crowd, it would be great to see you up there, Autocross
once and you'll want to do it all the time. Hope you can make it,
you'll see us...we'll be the people with the Focuses

so, as it turns out my operation is on june 14th, right around the corner. However, as long as chris is still able to go, I will be in attendance. I a.) wouldnt want to make the drive home alone even i were able to drive comfortably by then and b.) would feel a lot better being a passenger for this ride with the state ill be in..
hopin it all works out and his riding course wont fall on this week.. fingers crossed!

FYI - just a note on the time frame it will take to get from Manchester to Freeport bet on at least 1.5 hours even if you cut a break and find a blocker and go 75+mph.
We've hit and passed Memorial Day weekend and the tourists on the way into Maine SUCK!!!
Give yourself the 1hour 45 minutes
Dan and I haven't sussed out what we'll be doing that weekend. Being Dad's Day and all I may be in Maine visiting the pops. It may be a bad day for Dan. Most of you know why already.
We'll play it by ear. I know where it is anyway.

As far as I know Chris is still going... since he wont be taking his riders training course anytime soon. As long as he goes, I should be ok to go by then. My operation is the 14th, 5 days I should be able to head with him.
As always, batteries charged
Who are the definates for this ?
Ara + Noah
Joe + Dad
Maybe
Chirs
Tiffany

Most likely
Justin and his daughter and maybe Hexx (don't know his real name).
I'm trying to convince someone from base who owns an SVT to come as well.
