Well its time for a alarm in the svt.  I had both my honda and svt broken into a couple of weeks ago.  So inorder for me to install my new equipment i want to put in a alarm.  But i have people tell me that the keyless entry will screw up wil a aftermarket alarm.  They tell me i will basically need both remotes in order to operate the new alarm.  it anybody has any comments of suggestion that would be great.  even any ideas on where to go to have alarm installed would be good 2

the keyless entry is a load of bull.  Almost all alarms are designed to work with the keyless entry system, you shouldn't have any issues with that.  I'm a big fan of Viper alarms, though they are pricey and have to be installed by a certified professional.  Audio Junkie will be on here shortly and he'll tell you to go with some brand I've never heard of before.  Supposedly just as good.

I go with Viper because I trust the company, and they've been the leader in this area for many many years now.

Any alarm will do....LMAO thanks JOE.  Anyway alarms interface with the keyless entry to make it easier.  Or thats what intelligent installers use.  You gonna do it yourself or pay to havge it done?  If so...DO NOT use best buy or Circuit City or Tweeters.... Go to a reputable Car Audio only kinda store with MECP certified professionnals.  That also have DEI or Astra training.  You will only use the remote that came witht he alarm.  I reccommend Astra 777 its a two way paging system.  Awesome alarm.
