thanks joe...although emra finally admitted i am in a class 1 too high, we are holding on to second place in class currently....am just hoping the fellow in front of me breaks in one of the last three enduros...we have the 1 hour at the rock, then 3 hours at the glen next month, then the biggie..a 4 hour night race at summit point in november..me volunteer crew is awesome..at pocono we got in and out of the pits in under 2 minutes with gas, tires and driver change
we'll try to post some pics...the three hour is not usually too bad because it is cool by october...the 2 hour was tiring because it was hot last weekend at pocono....lost about 5 lbs to dehydration..
never did, i'll try and find one...and determination yes...but mostly a lack of brains...its funny, the short ones are only an hour, which i can do easily most of the time...but it still is a fair amount of time to concentrate at 110%...still some folks think its nothing....i would like to see them try and do it when ambient is around 95 degrees and its 120 in the car....trust me..my competitors (most of whom are friends) and i know that we are nuts..i mean for lime rock i am towing 18 hours round trip just to defend my second place in class and race for all of about 1 1/2 hours..you gotta be crazy to do that
