It doesn't surprise me to be honest, but hey, I'm from MAINE originally anyway!
I always give, even when I don't have. Hell, you'll see me from time to time w/ little goodie bags of toothpaste, toothbrush, washcloth, towel, razors, shaving cream & soap along with other goodies stopping next to those people holding 'will work for food' signs etc. Better than giving them money to go get drunk or drugs with.
Also, when I get a full punch card of something like coffee or subway sandwiches I give those out as well.

At the grocery store I work at, when we are doing a fund raiser for the Jimmy Fund, Walk for Hunger, Hudson Food Pantry, etc., you will be suprised at, not only how many people do not donate, but how many will actually LIE about giving beforehand. It actually pisses me off.
I am usually apt to giving a dollar here or there when I can, but when I see these people that refuse to donate, yet pull out a 100 dollar bill to pay for a $5 product, it does piss me off.
I miss NH. But I wont be back to the New England area for sometime. I have some news that came up that I need to take care of and that is why I am heading to Southern California. For those that are mods and whatnot meet me in the forum for those high ranking peeps.
