I still have my SVTF but today I got the biggest surprise of my life....I'll post some pics in a few days.  I've always been a VW nut...anyway to make a long story short, here is what happened...

To make a long story short, I've always loved VW.  I've had everything from GTIs to Scirocco 16v to a Passat.  But the last several years, I've been driving a 2002 Ford Focus SVT...which I still have and love.  I will be turning the keys over to my son in a few months.

Three days ago I got a call from my Ford dealer...a friend of mine who works in parts telling me to come by when I had a second.  I went thinking they had gotten a new Ford GT which they had....great car....but the real surprise was a 2004 VW R32 DPB w/17,000 miles on it....he had the plates on it for me to drive which I did.  Took it home to show my wife and son.  My wife loved it but we all agreed that perhaps it's not really the time to buy another car yet.  So after several phone calls from the dealership and me thinking I had made up my mind that I wasn't going to buy it, the dealership called me and told me they sold it to a VW dealer for wholesale.  I was disappointed but thought it was for the best.  Today, I went to go grocery shopping and when I came home and oppened the garage door, what did I see sitting in the garage?????  The R32...My wife had gone in on Friday and bought the vehicle for me.....Great wife my wife of mine....anyway..just wanted to say hi and looking forward to learing all there is to learn about the R32.

That is freakin sweet Ara.....I found one at a local dealership for around 23K. I'd love to have one, but the supercharger for my SVT is at the top of my priorities list......lucky to have a wife like that though. Nice score!:clap
