Wal*Mart comes to mind. Usually $20 - 25 for a cheap floor jack. I picked up one of those aluminum jacks for $100, and have seen them in Pep Boys for $80.
I'll ask a friend of mine where he got his Falkens. He's using them for circle track.

that would be great! I was going to go out and buy one but I'd rather I could wait until the autocross in May before having to do that, as I mentioned above, I think I've found a GREAT deal on some Azenis RT-615 for autocrossing with instead of the tires I had been planning to run on. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, I think I'll probably end up getting the Azenis by the second autocross, about the same time I'll get a jack.
BTW if you get to a Portland Press Herald business section today, you might see someone you recognize on the front page

yeah I checked there, I think the price I've found is about as good as I've seen it anywhere, and from what I've heard these are fantastic autocross tires.
so with some hiccups included, the car is ready for the weekend, everything is installed (including a new SVT shock courtesy of people who don't know how to use torque wrenches). Reservations are made, and I'm ready to roll, I'll also have a digital camera/video with me, so hopefully I'll have some shots of the fukuz in action.
The EGT survived the school with minor damage (see pics below). Chances are that I should make it up there for Saturday & have my student Dan with me.
The damaged was caused when 2 Spec Miata students tried to pass Dan on both sides going into turn 11. There's not much room there. They got by, but Dan got spun.
I've got my reservations as well...5:00 a.m. start...Joe, do I need to give you a wake up call??? Buddy, looking forward to seeing you Saturday...and meeting Dan.

New developement in the WRT camp: feels like a golf ball trying to push out of my jaw. Yup, absessed tooth. Doubtful I'm making the show this weekend. Boy the CMC crew will be disappointented (what excuses will they use to change classes now?).

Me at an autocross & NOT drive??? Yeah, right!! I had to watch my car race around without me all last weekend. Let me know when the 'fast' autocross is. I'll try to get the 'Scrat out for it.
The tooth comes out Tuesday. Trust me, I'd rather be playing with my car.
I heard rain on Sunday, so make sure to bring a plastic tarp to cover your stuff, an umbrella, extra jacket.

I've got the tarp, and I've got the gore-tex rain coat, I almost picked up an awning, but I chickened out at the last minute, I took the stereo out of the car, which is going to suck for the long drive especially considering the method I thought was going to work to mitigate that problem was a total last minute failure. so blah, it's a long ride with my ipod occasionally, I wish I had some little speakers for that thing, I don't really want to use ear plugs. Oh well. Anyways.
And what is the "fast" autocross anyways...if you are referring to the one at the Augusta Civic Center that one is nixed, we lost the parking lot, though from what I hear the other two lots we've picked up are fairly large also.
