Hampton comes to mind for a late afternoon - evening thing - tool out there in our recently detailed cars and show them off the nasty riced out hunks a junk found there this time of year.
I'm really serious about going to Ten's too - Pokes, Bill, Rob, Dan and I had fun the last time we went...you guys missed on hell of a show!

Oh, I'm also not avail the weekend of the July 15th, wedding and July 23rd, but - here's the thing there - we're having a reception here for the married couple (Dan's brother) and from what I understand, it's more or less an open invitation - Dan, what do you think? later afternoon after all the ceremonial mumbo jumbo is over we could invite these TFNE trouble makers (just kidding all) and have some fun into the wee hours.

ok, If you wanted Six Flags NE, we would need at least 15 people and it looks like the tickets are around 23.99 per person (normal price is 50.00) I would need to know a date and exactly how many people because there is a form I would have to fill out to arrange the price. I would say that it is totally not worth it unless we get 15 or more together cuz 50.00 is quite alot for a ticket. Although the park is quite big, I hear the New Jersey and New York parks are alot bigger. Just a side thought. It would def be fun, but only with the discounted rate.

We have talked about going to six flags every summer and it never seems to happen. The money, distance, and the fact that people back out last minute tend to make up just not even try to organize it.
It could be fun though.... Im not a huge fan of rides, but I know Bill has wanted to go, and John might be getting tall enough to go on rides.
No promises... but ill ask.

My only thing here is that not just getting a head count is enough. If you were to go forward with this you need to collect the money up front.
There have been so many instances when ppl. say they are committed to something and then back out and the person who organized the event is stuck with the bill.
What you've done is great, get a feel for who would be interested and then go from there...if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen...there are loads of other things to do.

I agree there Chelly!!! I know I can get my cousin and sister to go as well as maybe Mike. He hates spinning rides whereas I love all rides for the most part so there will always be people on the ground. There is also the waterpark for those who like the water as well. I also have paypal to use for those who have an account for payment if it makes things easier in money collection. I am jumping ahead, but I figured I would throw it out there for those who wondered about money and such. The 23.99 a person is two weeks in advance only, its more if you move closer to the weekend. I need to get my baby back to detail and try and get the scratches out of it. Hopefully Mike can fix it this weekend for good!!!!! Hampton sounds awesome as well. I haven't been there in years. I don't thin I remember how to get there

also as for 6 Flags. My first focus meet I attended was there and it got all messed up. A group of us got in for the group rate but some stragelers and some hanging around the cars had to pay full price and when in the park everyone went there seperate ways so it just ended up being a group of strangers got together and said "lets get a group rate to cheat 6 Flags out of 1/2 there normal fee". don't get me wrong, I'm all up for cheating 6 Flags out of money. Its just my observation of what actually happened.

and for teks to get to Hampton. Rt 495N (I don't car how you get there) to Rt 95N. Rt 95 is last exit on 495.
Take the Rt 101E Exit. Stop at the verry end or you will be swiming in salt water.
Cool, Thanks Dan!!!! and they said you'd get me lost...Hampton sounds fun!!!! My cousin would come and the baby would have a grand time; the man too!!!! Six flags, the more the merrier. It is hard to keep everyone together in such a big place especially those who aren't into the rides, but it'll work somehow and be fun if we do it!!!!

I would prefer to goto Hampton, and have a meet. Six Flags would be fun, but just would be too long of a drive... to risk getting seperated, thus ruining the whole point of a "g2g"
