majors are basically what the club foresees as being larger events, they are worth more points to members, but all events are open to everyone, they tried a few years ago to do a members only event and it didn't work out that well. I also want to emphasize that the sept. 2 event is being co-chaired by ara and I.
I know, even scarier is that I've moved up into FSP, which means crazy stuff like race tires and other such shenanigans, I'm hooked and there is no turning back.
maybe ill make a return...now that i have access to a tire machine, i might be able to change my snows to race tires for the rest of the year if so choose...hmmm...how mcuh id love to be back every event
in any case, i might be back to visit anyways. if i get my helmet back, maybe ill even make a run...its being painted, and have no idea when im getting it back.
if the fuggin thing could go a day without something being wrong i wouldnt have aproblem with it...this thing will be in tip top shape when i get rid of it. just about everything is new!!
hopefully (crossing my fingers) i might be able to make a run at least
Took the SVTF in to Ford today...fix a e-brake light that stays on, the old horn problem for which there is a TSB although I may have them install a secret horn...much louder then stock...
They did find my both front lower bushings as well as my rear control arm bushings are shot...I knew the rear were close...the good news is they are covered under my extended warranty so I have a $50 deductible. Hopefully they won't find anything else wrong...
I was supposed to have my summer tires put on as well as an alignment and such but I cancelled it for today since I was worried today's rain event may be the white stuff...
Hoping Wednesday, the SVTF will have it's summer shoes on and be ready for auto-x.

i had that same ebrake light on not more than 2 months ago...
i was losing brake fluid in the amount of a pint per month!! come to find out, it was not only the clutch master cylinder leaking on to the floor inside tha cab, but also the brake master cylinder leaking!!
cost : clutch master from ford $55
brake master from NAPA $65
6 hours of tedious pain in the ass labor in my own garage : priceless!
i now have no more leaking and no more brake light and more new flawless parts
