So - ok, well...i know i've been a scarcity here and out and about so i thought i'd take a mo just to say hi and let you all know (TFNE & everyone else) how much i've missed you all.
Many of you already know that i've moved back home to Portland, ME (my hometown)
Reasons are many, but i'm finally settled in and starting to have 'a life' again.
I have to apologize to those whom i've not kept in touch with, but in all honesty i've been a bit of a basket case & trying to get my feet planted again and get life to simmer down enough to walk back out into the sunshine has been difficult to say the least.
I've been home here in Portland since February - alone (yes single again) i'm working for a cable company (love the ppl. i work w/) and doing well at it. i'm actually working on a promotion already into their technical dept. fingers crossed it means more $$$
My dad and i have been working on his '72 Camaro to get it ready for the track this month, but it may not happen - the weather hasn't been very cooperative. This car has over 700hp and will be driven both by my dad and i at both Oxford & Epping drags this summer. I've not spent ANY time on my focus - i'm very upset about that fact because she needs some major TLC.
I'd like to see if we have some ppl. here and on other forums who'd be interested in getting some more g2g's together - my situation is i'm living in downtown portland and there is no where for me here at my house to hold an event. I'm willing to do leg work, & phone work to get stuff together, but i need ideas and locations!
TFNE was a great force in the TF 'empire' i'd like to see if we can re-kindle that. I've missed u all so much and want to see if we can turn heads some more like we used to. Having 10 foci in a row on a street can get a group noticed!
I have odd days off and Sunday's aren't one of them, but i'd be willing to try to work stuff out for Saturdays. I know there are a lot of Auto-x events happening and hey i'm all for them to hang - i can't race my car yet it's the only thing i have to get me from point a-b and no money to fix if it breaks, so i won't be racing her yet.
So from the bottom of my heart, and rick you know you mean the world to me, i'm sorry for my absense and i will try to make it up to all of you.
I'd love to hear ideas for G2Gs and even if its just a few ppl. who wanna just cruise, meet, tinker on the cars, detail the cars or anything like that lemme know I have Tuesdays off too so hit me up!

Don't feel bad, I'm pretty much in and out myself. Pokes can vouch for that, if it wasn't for her telilng me about her little shindig, I wouldn't have known what was up.
I'd like to get together again at some point, last summer when I first started hanging with you all, it was definitely a change than hanging with the maxima crew (mostly, we hung out in RI or some parts of MA, always watching out for cops), but with TFNE its different... more to do. Hell, who else would have a first meet picking up leaves and stuff?
Detailing meet? The question is: where can we hold such an event?
My car is in need of some BAAAAAD work. Thanks to a couple friends smoking near my car with my windows down, my car smells like a rolling ashtray at the moment. Plus, with the accumulation of dog hair, thanks to my roommate's dog, I could seriously clone off a few more bulldogs if I really wanted to.
Not to mention I have not washed my car in over a year, let alone waxed it even once.
How about the Eastern Prom. We hang out there sometimes with the VW club and are never bothered by the popo or anyone...down near the playgrounds/tennis courts and the boat launch...
There are two other/new SVTs locally now that auto-x with Joe and I who may want to show up as well...The issue with Maine is it's too far for some from down south..

Well i have Tues & Sats off for now till the promotion goes through.
I'm open to anything and the E-Prom is a great place to meet and chat.
The detailing event...could poss do it at my parents place in SoPo but if anyone has a place they know of that has access to water & space to park i'm all in.

Chelly does - sorry all, life has been a nightmare, work, dad out of work, mom sick, me having cancer (surgery happening sometime this comin month) and other things. Including needing a clutch for my car.

Things are pretty good here.......in the market for a new vehicle again (pissin me off) I bought a Grand Cherokee and the guy was not 100% honest with us and it has some major issues including needing the rack and pinion done We bought it in CT where there is no lemon law so needless to say I am thinking of getting what I can sellin the POS and getting the new computer and emissions for the focus. Poor girl has sat long enough - anyone know where you can get a computer for it reasonable??? Its an '01 ZX3 S2
