I must say... the okies don't know how to party. Any place i go reminds me of those big, back woods high school parties that the Fl rednecks have that all the different cliques go to and stand by themselves and talk about the others while drinking crappy beer just cause they don't know any better. AND they can't handle their alcohol (probably due to the 3.2% beer)
I moved here just to get away from the swamp for a bit cause my brother needed a roomate and now all i wanna do is get away fromt the okies and I don't know where to go. I hear New Zealand calling me... Cap'n.... come visit Cap'n....
Well, whatever. Let me tell YOU something, people, if you're out there... My neighbor said the other day my apt. was "like a cook house (meth house) but for beer... you can't walk around the place without having to step over some brewing equipment." Its true. I got beer everywhere. I probably have 30 gallons of beer around this place. Lets see... I have a batch of Traquair House Ale clone, a simple honey wheat, a chocolatey malty 7.5% abv smooth as butter batch (some microbrew, i forget the name but its their weakest beer! My favorite ever!), a honey steam batch , a batch of Old Peculiar clone, and a batch of John Courage Imperial Stout clone (10.3% abv).
Mmmm... Homebrew done right is the best tasting stuff you've ever had. Fresh beer can't be matched by the breweries.
If you haven't had a good, fresh home brew, you are really missing out. Any of you guys are more than welcome to stop by for a few. A few is all you'd need cause these suckers aren't weak! My last one started out at a OG 1.088 and finished at a FG 1.014. Mmmmmm... I've just had 2 and my mental knots are nicely untangled.
