Yea if I had brewing equipment, I would sell too. I know many friends that drink on the weekends that I could profit from.

Your first batch bottled with all brand new DECENT equipment should cost about $120. Thats $60 a case of probably 6-7% beer. But your next two cases would cost only about $12 to $17. I have a brand spankin new 2 keg kegerator with a 5lb CO2 tank, 3- 5 gallon cornelius (soda)  kegs, 4 cases of bottles, 1 primary and 2 secondary fermenters (1 glass and 1 plastic carboy), a bottling bucket, and assorted equipment. Its one of those addictive habits. I've spent about $450 on all that stuff. BUT! Making about a batch every 1 1/2 weeks, at an average cost of $35, i have enough beer for me to drink a few every night and a couple friends too. For 6-8% stuff on average.

So... For $450. I have the ability to keep myself and a few friends drunk for $35 every week and a half. On kegged beer. Bottled is cheaper (initially) but more work. And its fresh...:drink

Oh. And all that equipment allows me to have 25 gallons of finished beer and 15 gallons in the making at any time.

Nice, but I wouldn't dedicate money on buying the equipment nor do I have space for it. You will start saving $ on the long run. You reduced the trips to the store and buying the bottles and pay more tax. Also you can drink it on a cold mug straight out of your tap and that's very beneficial!

Yeah.... kinda. I can fit it all in a 4'x8' area in my apt. I got a nice bakers rack to store all my parts and pieces. What you can't see in the pic is my fermenters, cases of filled bottles, and a keg that would fit in front of the bakers rack if i so desired, and a case of empty bottles on the top shelf of the rack.

It took the place of my dining table. Which i never used anyhow.

Looks good!

Wish I could get a set like that, I would have a lil bar set to go with it. A bar at home, that would be nice.

Thanks! I keep all my liquor in that cooler with the kegs too. Right around 34 degrees. I never converted the cooler to a real kegerator with the taps on the outside in case i wanted to quit drinking and use it for just a deep freezer.

I like beer and the way it tastes but i really do most of my drinking to escape my reality. If i ever get my act together and do something with my potential I'll probably be happier and I won't need to self medicate. So one day i might stop. And then a deep freezer would be great!

Yeah. I'm all jacked up. Some call it laziness, but that would imply that its intentional and not my nature.

Wow what's this from?

My logic is that people aren't stupid, they're just f#(kin' lazy. If they use a lil more effort on working their brains, most s#!t would be easy. But these assholes can't bother to work an extra brain cell to meet common sense.
