I should visit Maine. It just sounds so cold all the time. I know its not, but that's all I can picture it as. I miss Florida. I think I'll move back there. The best restaurants are there. Except for Mexican restaurants. Those would be in CA. Maybe Texass, but I haven't checked. I miss Beef O'Brady's. The best little sandwich chain there is! Only in Fl. And Publix! The nicest grocery stores. Clean with all the little weird things you could want. Yup. And I miss all my toys! Tools galore! And my mr2. OK does have some of the hottest chicks I've seen in the U.S. but these okies are all stuck in a 50's mentality. You'd have to come here to understand it. Preppiest people I've ever met. Kinda different from what I'm used to. They all think I'm crazy. I hear it all the time. I even banged my boss. That's funny. She's a good looking lady who's 13 years older than me. Still. Florida is calling. The heat, the humidity, the mosquitos. It misses me, and is calling me... Captain.... Captain.... Come home...............
The one in Winter Haven is down the street from a Publix. The one in Lakeland has its own building in front of a best buy. And I think the one in Melbourne on Eau Gallie blvd isn't either. Hmmm... I've never really noticed how close most of them are. Ha. My favorite one was in Palm Bay cause the beer was free! These Okies don't know anything about beer and sandwiching. That's an art exclusive to the east coast, I think.
Yeah I haven't been there in a while. Dad and I usually go if we want a good burger. My new fav restaurant now (at least for the week) is Tijuana Flatts. Really good tex mex. And the togo containers they use are good for eating in fron of the tv. Good stuff.
La la la la la la la. I like Tecate. In a bottle or a can, it really doesn't matter. I woke up this morning with an incredible headache. Its unusual for me to sleep in late and only wake up with a headache. Hmmmm.... So i decided to go to work and not do anything. I just walked around and talked to the chicas. Wasn't bad.
I saw this today. It made me laugh. Its really not funny till you hit the post by WTF a couple posts down.
so basically these guys are mad because they broke the law and got caught? Um...okay. The cop didn't really gloat at all. In fact, he pretty much warned these kids not to post the stories anymore. Jeez, I'm not gonna get into it.
So it was fun talking to the girlies? It always nice to have an easy day at work. I'm only staying at work for another half hour and then I'm gonna clean the haze of my NEW floor tile. And then attempt to move the freaking furniture out of my bedroom and back to where it all belongs. And if its too heavy then "DADDYYYYY, help please. I'll buy ya dinner!" Its great having a dad that will work for food. Hee hee!
Its funny cause it was the same thread that the speeder started that was posted about his arrest. That website is all about stunt bike tricks. The big FTP in the top corner stands for F The Police. The site is just begging for trouble. The guys are mad cause they can't brag online without threat of getting caught.
remind me when I get my bike not to brag online like that...maybe to my brother in law who's a cop, but definately not online.
its weird, the cops around here don't chase the bikes. Usually they wait till someone does something stupid and end up breaking their bikes. But usually the cops give the guys a ticket and then wait for a ride or tow truck or whatever to show up. they usually leave the stunters alone. at least that's what happens when I go riding.
that's because the cops are so board. Where the bikes stunt is outside of TT jurisdiction. It belongs to HCSO. There's another place in st. pete way out of the way of traffic and late saturday night no cars drive down there. The PCSO sorta drives up flashes some lights, the bikes book and that's it.
I went to apply for a position at TT and they only have one tech and he's on call 24/7. THere's not much going on. I think there was one murder in the last five years and I think they brought in the sheriff's department to help out. I need to move to a place where there is more crime. Maybe then I can get a job.
It was nice. Its kinda sad to say that Missouri was the nicest part of the drive though. I've decided that the U.S doesn't need Indiana or Illinois. Who's gonna miss corn? And Michigan... Its pretty good at keeping those Canucks out. You should see their state troopers. I don't know how anyone takes them serious with that one gigantic light on the top of their car. It looks freakin REDICULOUS. They do have Meijers (pronounced Myers) though. Its way better than crappy walmart and they sell liquor. And thats another funny thing. The gas stations, if they sell beer then they sell liquor too. Not behind a counter or anything, just kinda out there on the floor. Its funny to watch hundred year old ladies all hunched over pushing a shopping cart with veggies and meat and stuff down the liquor aisle picking up a couple bottles of vodka. I don't think anyone up there knows what a good Tequila is, though. The best anyone had ANYWHERE was Sauza Commemorativo. The golfing up there was beautiful. Nice scenic overlooks. I nailed three shots into a river just to do it.
