All I did on my ZX3 was add Polyfill to my rear quarter panels between the Interior panel and outside vehicle and I added Snowfrost 1/2 inch Camper Seal foam gasket to the edge of the doors from the window to the bottom of the door to seal the doors tight....Hope this helps....keeps the car warmer in the winter also :P

I agree - excellent idea...my only fear would be moisture etc. being held in that area and around the edges. 
Yes, I'm a clean freak about my car.
I'll have to buy some and play a little with it.  It's similar to what I had with my 4Runner.  When you closed the door to my truck you could feel your ears pop the seal was so tight.
