so my a/c condenser was hanging kind of low for awhile and today it got into a fight with a curb and lost. just wondering if it is still safe to drive my car with a broken condenser and how much it would cost to repair it and if i should attempt to repair it myself or have a pro do it. thanks for any advice.

yeah its safe to drive. if you broke it then you probablly discharged all the refrigerant. repair cost is the price of the condensor plus recharge and 1hr labor.

I think the part is quite expensive. I'd guess $400-600 for the whole job inc. labor.
