I think I saw a how-to for that a while back on a Ranger or F150 site or something. It didn't seem too technically-difficult, and the results were nice.

Do up a how-to, it'll be another thing for me to file away in the "do this when you have some extra time" category:P

I'll stick with the blue since my Foci is blue, but I'll like to see the how-to as well.

next, heat up the oval, as the logo gets gooie, carefully pick back the the corners of the oval to break its bonding seal to the base plate.

once its hot enough, stick something sharp into the oval and slowly pull up the overlay. peel it up enough to get a grip on it with the pliers. allways keep the heat on it as your working the material. the results should look like this.

and because the pic on top is off my 250 and the logo on the rear of the focus is nothing like it, you will end up with a chrome oval :X so youll need to do this........

When you mention stabbing it, do you poke it with the sharp object on an edge, and then pull the goo-clear substance off the top of the color? You don't want to destroy the clear "goo" stuff right?

yes, the clear goo is what you want to pull off, but be carefull when you stab into it that you dont go to deep and hit the actual base part of the logo.

it will work on the front one but not the back, or smaller logos, the ford part is real faint so it dont give the illusion the bigger logos do.  i liveddeded and learnt

i tried it on the front logo of my 2001 sedan and ended up having a chrome blank spot.  the ford logo came off in one peice and the base plate is a piece on its own.  Where did i go wrong?

Ya didn't, that one he posted was on a f250 with raised ford letters underneath and blue vinyl surrounding it.  The focus is just a vinyl ford emblem.
