so my gas door broke off a few weeks ago... stupid, i know, but i ran by a junkyard & got a new one.  i've got a '00 focus, and the new gas door came off of a '00, so it should be all good, and i popped the old one out *total pain in the butt, by the way*  and now i can't get the new one in :? 

I don't know what to do!  I can't get the stupid boot/box/thingy in and get everything flush like it should be.  Any suggestions??? 

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!
