Car hesitates some when shifting gears, and than runs smooth.

Does it need clutch adjustmeent? and if does how do you adjust.

Hi & welcome to TF.  :wave

The clutch is a hydraulic unit that shares its fluid with the brakes. It's self adjusting & has no manual adjustment capabilities that I know of.

Could you provide more details re: what the car is doing? If it's hesitating, I doubt that it's the clutch. Sounds more like a fuel delivery or an ignition problem to me.
