Has any one ever seen or done and reinforcement to the lower radiator support and empty space in front of the AC condenser to limit damage? I am thinking in terms of a mini brush guard for trucks, only one that’s hidden behind the front fascia? Currently its all air and plastic.
Damaged parts:
Radiator, condenser, lower support (16138), flat plastic lower air dam cover (8327B), both small plastic inner air dam blocks (8311 and 8310). number in parentheses are fords part numbers off schematics.
I live in the country and we have all kinds of coons, possums, squirrels, dogs, cats, foxes, coyotes, etc running around. I am not prepared to spend another $1,200 fixing this $%^& thing because there is zero protection from objects bouncing off the road into the radiator and condenser. The car only has 4,500 mile on it for god sakes!
