I had about 5 litres of petrol in tank i had a jerry can that i thought had 20 litres of petrol and stuck in in the tank.

It must of had some diesel mixed in.:(

Doe anyone know the best way to drain off fuel from tank

You need a bucket and some tools.

Remove the fuel line from the engine, place into bucket. Turn car to "on" (don't start it). The fuel pump will pump the bad gas right out.

Hi thanks for your reply, i have taken air filter of 4 screws then 4 nuts there is a big nut in middle? should i remove that am i getting any closer to the fuel line.
I can not belive cars have changed so much over the years

I assume the carburetta is under this thing the air filter was sitting  if it has one.

please  help me get to find the fuel pipe:(
