I took the car to the Laser wash today. (I know...lazy bastard). Later on I went over it with Meguires Quick Detailer stuff & did the windows. I got looking a the car. It had been awhile since I'd washed it. It looked good, except for the wheels. They're 17" white, 16 spoke ADRs. As you can imagine, white wheels are a bitch to keep looking good. Brake dust is immediately noticable, not to mention tar & other road gunk. Naturally, going to a car wash won't touch this stuff. Fact is, even if you wash it by hand, you always end up using Quick Silver or something similar to get them looking presentable.

So, as I was saying, the car looked good, except for the wheels. I did a lot of work today & was feeling kinda tired, so I thought...what can I use that will be quick, fast, and I don't have to use the hose, then wipe the car down again....

New secret weapon...............Windex! I sprayed some on, wiped it off, and everything came off with it. I was amazed at how well it worked! No rubbing, no scrubbing, no hose, no water, no mess, and no expensive chemicals. Just spray it on, take a rag & wipe it off.

Tastes great---less fillling!
