This is excellent information Rick, thank you very much!

This, for those of you who may be interested, has many ideas I've shared with you re: detailing.  It also adds great tips and tricks for all aspects of cleaning.

I particularly like the information about avoiding petroleum based de-greasers and using citrus based ones.  Petroleum based products can have a detrimental effect on plastic and rubber hosing & other pieces in your engine and inside your car.

I've also noted they've mentioned Product 303 Aerospace Protectant.  I've been bragging about this product for over 2 years now and I will continue to do so.  You can use this product on every part of your vehicle that is not body panel.  Rubber (hoses & tires), Vinyl (seats, hard tops, soft tops, dash etc.), exterior trim (like on the focus - mirrors, unpainted side trim).  This product has to be one of the most versitile and one of my, if not my favorites.  You can use it on boats, airplane parts and so much more.  It includes an excellent UV protectant that helps protect fading on the interior and that nasty browning of your tires by UV.  Well worth the money and it lasts for ages because you don't need much at all.  It is also available at http://www.topoftheline.com
