Maybe it's because I haven't been around in a while but the place has gotten kinda raunchy since I left. I have to come on here at the library now, (lost my computer in the divorce) and I'm getting nasty looks because of some people's avs & signatures. I'm not a prude but today's the first time I've actually been embarrassed to come here. This place should be toned down a little.

it's not the speaking part that's the problem. It's all the half-naked, sexual innuendos everywhere you turn. Like I said if I was sitting at home drinking a beer I would care less. But right now their are children around me. I'm in a public library, I can't have some of this stuff up on the screen. I remember a lot of users that came on here from work, or other public places and I used to see them complain and think they were just easily bothered. But now I see why, It's embarrassing.

Nope, No feature like that here. And sorry if a little skin is shown here, I would rather see that then all the bickering and racism that is prevalent on some of the other boards.
I kinda have to agree with Maxx, I have to be careful because I mainly access this site at work. Obviously the adult region all things aside, but some of the avatars are quite racy as well as some of the sigs, there are some topics I know not to open just by who has posted there. I understand having all that freedom, but that is going to turn off alot of people to the site also. There has to be some sort of compromise that can be made.

I kinda agree with Maxx and Joe. Im here a lot at work and there are come avatars that are a little much at work. CKA... im not worried about yours... I get more worried about the one with the boobs boucin around and such. Granted, I do work with all men but the way that they are outsourcing this place, im worried that some of the things that pop up on this site are gonna come back to bite me in the ass!!
I have no problem with the nasties in the members only forum... nor problmes with any kinda pics in threads (eventhough it very VERY nice when people warm that they are NWS). Its just the thigns of..... questionable taste... that pop up no matter what thread you are reading

Well, just incase I changed her, I did complaints from another board on my last one anyway, too many complaints. God this whole world is so censored now, the superbowl was censored, everything. Why don't we all just wear black and white suits, there, that would be better.

OK, I have deleted some of the Avatars and asked a few of the members with suggestive signatures to change them. If I still get complaints I will turn off both features.
Well hell - I know it can be difficult, but jeez - now I'm sad.

Just as a PS - there are loads off coffee houses out there too who have access to the internet as part of their charm. "Internet cafes" They don't usually have people who mind so much.
