Not for a long time. Unfortunately, it's only just started.

Human kind is experiencing somethings that it never had before. One of which is overpopulation. We are such a peaceful and health concious world that we keep overproducing especially males. Our world is catching up on the male/female equality in ratio. What's gonna happen when there aren't enough females to go around? Anybody been in an area where there are way more males than females? I personally hate it. It seems everybody is more aggressive and competitive and even the females are that way. All in all it seems like there are a lot less happy people. There are going to be a lot more conflicts. I don't see realistically how there won't be with as many different lifestyles and beliefs as we have. Too many people.

Economic growth theories are based on expanding markets and populations. Try selling zero growth to any government.
Try and imagine Bush or Kerry making an announcement and being happy about it... "Our population has decreased by 20 million and GDP is down by 2%. But our GDP/capita has increased by 3%"
Fox news doesn't have anyone who could even remotely understand that, let alone present it as a positive.

Yeah it stinks. Most of the children concieved are males but also males are the most miscarried and stillborn. Medicine has severly cut down on those rates. And without war and dangerous work and other killers of young males the boys of 50 years from now are gonna have to find other hobbies to occupy their passions other than the ladies. I don't see that happening. Glad i'll be to old to care.

That's really interesting. I never knew that...or at least, I never thought about it. Apparentely, the current world birth ratio of males/females is 1 to 1.06 per thousand births in favor of males. At that rate it would take a long time to produce a noticeble imbalance. Males suffer more premature deaths and still births. While medical science has worked to correct that, it's not even yet. Couple that with the fact that men have a shorter life expectancy than females, still do the vast majority of dangerous work, warfare, and general risk-taking behaviors, and I think it's kind of doubtful that we'll notice one gender having a significant majority any time during our lifetimes.

Isn't that the base point of being a soldier to kill or be killed, death and destruction?

I got this off of husseinandterror.com website. There's a bunch of interesting pics on there.

A little over three months after the bombing of an Israeli cafe, Mrs. Khaldiya Isma’il Abd al-Aziz al-Hurani collected a check for $25,000 as a bonus for her son’s suicide and his homicide of nearly a dozen others.
