Instead of spending an hour looking, does anyone know on what basis Scott Peterson was found guilty of double homicide?

he didn't show emotion, from what I've read, there is no "hard" evidence proving his guilt. Just an enormous pile of circumstantial evidence and coincidence. I was having an issue reading the reports this morning. "We sentenced him to death because he didn't show any emotion." Know that's a great reason for the death penalty right there.

With the mountain of non-conclusive evidence I would say chances are he is guilty, but I wouldn't be able to sleep at night giving him the death penalty without 100% hard evidence saying so. God forbid we kill this guy and find out a year from now he didn't actually do it. And we based all of our reasonings on he said, she said, and whether or not he was a good husband or not.

I dunno. I wasn't there. Didn't hear the evidence. Wasn't on the jury. I just read about in the news media.

And I sure as hell don't trust them.

That's one of the very reasons that we abolished the death penalty in Canada.

I dont really have a problem with the death penalty. I dont really care if they execute a murderer. I think if your proven guilty of murder through DNA evidence, and its absolutely proven, you should be cancelled. I have been able to, without the interference of emotion, distinguish between the malicious murder of another, and the penalty of putting someone to death. What I do have a problem with though, and cant quite understand, is how people can celebrate death. So Laci is murdered, but when the person who supposedly did the act is murdered, they celebrate lol. Unreal. Like I said, I dont really care either way if Scotty is ever executed, but I am not out in front of the courthouse cheering and clapping when the news of his demise is passed down. It just shows us how f'd up humanity really is. People crave revenge, even it means resorting to the very same measure they condemned so rabidly in the first place.

People murdering their wives and unborn kids. People sawing other peoples heads off with survival knives and machetes. People hangin out with their buddies, shooting pigs then crankin up the chainsaw and beheading the pig, all while they record it, and laugh about it. People are animals. Humanity is the devil. Humanity makes me sick. Humanity should die.

I'm kinda going both ways.. I almost think it would have been better to see him rot in jail.. let him deal with that and see how long he lives.. i almost feel he gets off easy with the death penalty..

More than likely with California's wait on death row. He will more than likely die of natural causes or be killed by a fellow prisoner. Only 10 have been put to death since the death penalty has been reinstated.

Yeah, there is like 600 something lowlife dirtbags sittin on "Death Row" in Cal-E-for-KNEEah. It's actually in the process of being renamed "Live Row".

If Scotty has to go sit on Live Row in say, San Quintan, he will most likely be living in what could be assumed as "hell", or a form of it.

The people claim executions cost too much. Huss shit. Put it on Pay-Per-View and/or have public executions. The money made with greatly offset, if not fully pay for, the executions of filthy murderers, rapists, molestors, etc. Think about it, look at Dumb Dumb Don King, he pulls in 100's of millions of dollars with his boxing racket. Just think what executions could do!

If we're going to keep housing the worst of criminals, we need to find a way to pay for all the losers of society. Maybe we do need Don King....we could set up a Prison Boxing League. Inmates could then "pay their own way" by fighting, and we put it on PPV. Order up!

There ARE solutions to many if not all problems! Americans are just so lazy and/or complacent, they just sit back and do nothing but worry about their jobs, marriages/kids, mowing the lawn, and that 2 week vacation! America is Zombified.
