i dont think the people outside of new england have any idea what our sports teams mean to us.. i mean, cmon they JUST started winning again, this is awesome..now only if hockey played and the celtics were decent..haha, celtics
The Sox will always matter most though, and the Pats winning is never bad either! As I've heard it put: "Pretty telling when you win 3 SuperBowls in 4 years and you're still the second favorite team in town!" New England is most certainly the nexus of the sports universe.

It should be named after them, or something generic, like the name of the city, the team, region. It makes me sick to see public places named after banks, insurance companies, etc.
