Everything happens in 3s, hmm, Pope, Terri, Mitch...
My friend's sister has to cancel her wedding now, it was slated for April 19th... at the Vatican. Well since JPII died it's all closed down for a month, so no wedding bells for Ana just now!
I'm glad he's done suffering though, it hurt me to watch him. I know he thought he was setting an example for people about living with suffering and helping them make it through a better person, but the poor man was falling apart. I read that he died quietly though, that's how I'd like to go eventually. Some bishop or someone was quoted as saying "he died peacefully, like Jesus." I'm a little rusty on my Christian history, but I'm quite sure crucifixion isn't too peaceful

I disagreed with him on a fair number of issues, but he was quite a guy. He stuck to his guns in the face of terrific social pressures. I admire him not only for that, but other reasons as well.
