You know, I agree. 

then I think - what if this kid did grow up in that atmosphere.  Father is a murderer and I can only imagine what the mother was like if she could do this.  end that gene pool right now!

chance to be normal when he ahd genes and the environment of those

From some of the last lines of the article, sounds like the defense
attorney was going for a Post-partum depression caused her to be out of
control and therefore unintended death (manslaughter). I have no doubt
there's mental illness in some way in that woman, but there's no excuse
to only nourish a baby so that in a year and a half he only gains 1.5
pounds?! Poor little thing, I can't imagine how she coulda put up with
his cries and everything, going through what he was...

Gosh, so many sad stories recently it seems? So many bad people out there, I can't comprehend how they do any of it!:gofast
