Wow, could it be, people actually stopped buying gas enough to impact it?

I'll be the first to admit, my jaded self thought it would never even consider going down, I didn't realize there were enough peolpe not visiting the pump. This is kinda encouraging, no?

Probably a good sign. Maybe people are actually starting to pay attention.

When you consider how much the US uses in fuel each year 3% is very significant.

I know I've been squeezing every little drop out of my car.  I've been averaging 370+ miles per tank and I've been hitting cruise on my way to and from work.  Not going over 70 mph.  I've been getting anywhere from 30-35 mpg

I filled up 3 days ago and the last time was August 24th. So uhhh, yeah, 10.x gallons in just over a month!

I have no idea how much oil our country uses, but even though 2.6% or whatever it is, isn't a lot of "percentage", the gallons number I'm guessing, is ginormous!!!

Well this is maybe good news for those with oil-heated homes. I know my mom and stepdad were already cringing in anticipation, not like it'll be a walk in the park, but anything except going up is a nice change!
