Ok, I'm hoping someone just really hates Bush and has decided to lie in a documentary about what George told him. Because really, if Bush honestly invaded on "divine Providence" I'm really gonna lose my mind...

If God was going to intervene in such social and political arenas, wouldn't He choose a more intelligent or able messenger?!:gofast

It's so ludicrous, if it was anyone else I would be convinced whoever's making the documentary is just really trying to make him look bad (or worse I should say)

But it's Bush, I don't doubt it... seriously I was/am dumbfounded by this.

Interesting article! About time some of those strong "fan bases" woke up!

He kinda seems to be trying to play both sides now, and it's not working. I think he thought he'd throw a bone and try to come off as a little more moderate, but the Left isn't buying it and it's alienating his support on the Right.

Tough place to be in, the mid-term elections should be interesting, all I hear is doom and gloom about the Republicans anticipating a loss of majority (or a decrease in the R/L power balance).

Seriously it'd be a ray of sunshine in my day I know!

I'm holding out for 08, I can't imagine after all this negative Republican publicity, that Dems won't win the Presidency, but stranger things have happened, I can't assume anything!

But it'd be nice IF we got a Dem back and he (she?... doubt it) had less of a steadfast WALL to work against in the Hosue/Senate. Could be all the more productive in working to undo the monumental damage the Shrub has caused.

Oh, yeah. That'd be wonderful. Get a Dem in there that'll wanna tax the shiza out of the individual tax payer to pay for all kinds of dumbass socialistic programs. The last thing I want is my own money. It'd also be nice if we'd get out of those crappy countries so all those hundreds of billions could be spent here is the good ol' U S of A. So what if those poor "wipe with their hands" bastards spend ALL of their time figuring out ways to attack us imperialistic infidels. We can always just use the money saved on war to rebuild. And shoot. There's plenty of american lives we can spare. The trade towers only cost what, $200 million? And we only lost like 3,000 people, right? Our stupid little war will probably cost more than that in lives when we're done.

Speaking of tax money/lives, I thought this was funny, planned parenthood has recieved only 2 1/2 billion for 44,670,812 lives lost. We're WAY more efficient at killing Americans than anyone else. My figures are actually way off cause PP didn't do all of the abortions and others were paid for it, too. But even if you add another 100b to it, we're still better.

Personally, I haven't seen any kind of significant difference. I don't mean from raises either.  And shoot. There's plenty of american lives we can spare. The trade towers only cost what, $200 million? And we only lost like 3,000 people, right? Our stupid little war will probably cost more than that in lives when we're done. I believe you are absolutely correct on this one. While I fully support the action we took/are taking in Afganistan, and against Al Queda, the war in Iraq is just absurd. I, for one, would much rather see that money spent on our country, than thrown away, along with American lives. We invaded Iraq, a soverign nation, for absolutely no good reason. There were no weapons, they were not threatening to us, and no terrorists were based there. Terrorists came there in response to the action we took against Iraq. And as for characterizing the Iraqui people as, "wipe with their hand bastards" is a little much. What did they do to us?

The abortion debate will l, IMO never be settled. You're either for it or against it. It a debate that crosses party lines.

I was kinda joking with the wipe with their hands thing. A fella I work with was in Afghanistan and was telling all of the nasty things he hated about the country and that was one of them. He said they don't use paper and usually don't use the facilities. Just pop a squat and finger out the excess.
