While this Bill Murray movie was entertaining, it didn't live up to my expectations. It did have its funny moments, was full of quirkiness, purposefully unreal at times, but the whole thing just didn't seem to come together. It was OK, but I'm glad I only paid the matinee price.
i saw it and i thought it was funny....although what i also liked about the movie, was the guy that was singing the songs all the time, was singing them all in portuguese...i thought that was awesome

That's the main comment I hear about this movie... some guy sings a bunch of David Bowie songs in Portugese. When did Portugese become so popular? Hey, if that's your thing, knock yourself out, I'm just always amazed that I keep hearing this comment over and over. Personally, I liked the part when Zissou has enough of the pirates and starts to kick ass in the most unreal fashion and then decides to go and rescue the bond company stooge.
