This is just my , but IMO this year's crop of movies hasn't been nearly as good as previous years. The Aviator...an academy award nominee? I didn't think is was THAT good. Same for Sideways, and Finding Neverland. Critics are saying these are the years best movies. They certainly include some brilliant acting performances, but the movies themselves have been kinda ho-hum, IMO.
