Just got back from seeing this with She, Who Must Be Obeyed. What a poor movie! There's none of the magic that was in the 1st one. This one was sooo long that my butt went into rigor mortise. It's nearly 3 hours of mostly confusion, obviously fake scenery, and endless fight scenes. Depp's performance is all right, but nothing like his work in the 1st movie. The movie ended strangely with an blatant clue that there would be another sequel.
Sorry folks. I can't recommend this one. Save your money. In fact, I can't even recommend renting it when it's released. One * out of 5.

I was going to wait until part 3 was out anyway since they'd made such a fuss about the trilogy. Part two always leaves too much hanging when there's a finale in the works.

Just got back in and I'm doing an oil change on the Focus. Man, it feels good to be doing something normal for a change and not having to go through fifty pages of languages I don't understand to get to one that I do. :-) I can do a darn good impression of both sides of an arguement between a Kuwaiti and an Indian though :-)
50degrees C for days on end in the UAE is just a bit much for me these days.
I'm heading back out again tomorrow but should at least be able to log in every now and then. We're so damn lucky in North America when it comes to cheap easy internet access. There are places where you have to give some stooge a list of the URLs that you want to visit...... and the twit gets pissed off if none of them are porn sites since he can't extract an extra "special" service charge from you.
