so pissed about it.. even though i've kinda grew apart from pantera and never really got into his new shit, he was still an AMAZING guitarist.... sucks bad....
I just found out. Darrell was a great friend to me. before I knew him, he was my favorite member of the band I revered. My friends and I used to jam out and just get nuts for Pantera. We went to every concert in the area. WE made banners and went to all the record signings. We watched the videos and lived our lives by them. Pantera was our favororite band ever. One day when I was ond enough, I got a job as a roadie and was fortunate enough to spend a year on the road with them. I got to see the world with Pantera and Darrel was always so cool to me. we drank together, got high together, and jamed together. I even visited him at his house once. he was a great friend. Just the coolest guy ever who would do anything for his fans. He made the music I lived by and grew up with. I dont even know what to do right now. All I can think of is if you loved Dime, go mix up a blacktooth grin right now and drink it for dimebag. goodbye Darell, I wish I could have been there when it happend. I love you, you will be missed.
