Thanks to Buddy on Saturday, i heard this band. I picked it up yeasterday (6/15) at Newbury Comics in Burlington. LAST ONE!

I really like them, pretty damn good.  And now that i have listened to it a few times, im really liking it. Great music, and lyric wise.

ONLY THING...just like you said Buddrick, WHY OH WHY did they do that to every single track at the end? Its out of place, it just doesnt sound right AT ALL. That is the only negative honestly, which really isnt bad, because you can just skip to the next song!!

Thanks Buddy, for the heads up on them....SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC!

Thier new CD, Nova Sonic, is due out in Feb. I've heard a couple of songs, and I know Chris has heard the whole CD, unmastered.
The CD release party will most likely be at the Rockpile in the Palace (Saugus Mass), date to be announced.

There are a couple of songs available (MP3s) for download.

WHAT?!?!?! It started as a Dec release, then Jan, then Feb, now March. They are just stringing me along. LOL

Well the 1st weekend in March I'm busy with Race A Ramma, so they better wait until at least the 2nd weekend to have the CD release party.

Speaking of local music, did you see the band who won the Battle for Ozzfest? "A Dozen Furies"? They are from Texas, and their sound is a total RIP-OFF of what Mass/N.E. bands have been doing for years. Look at all the NE bands on Ozzfest...Hatebreed, UNEARTH, Darkest Hour...

The best metal-core has always come from Mass/NE. My friend Coby and I used to book Unearth for shows down at Hampton Beach. I just saw the former drummer from Unearth at a party, he feels like a real idiot for quitting the band, cuz they are finally blowin up, just like Shadows Fall did.

It's funny to hear so many bands around the country rip-off the Mass Metal/Hardcore scene. Weak.

OK, Cherry ST's CD release party will be June 4, 2005 at the Middle East, down stairs.

Before that the band will be playing at a movie premiere at the Paradise in late May. See their web site http://www.cherrystmusic.com for details.

Cool, you can help me throw Dan & Bob's bosses in the 'pit'.

I saw them last night at the Paradise. I know Dan, Jay & Dennis were all nervous because it the last show they played was last Summer at the Atrium. They sounded great. It was a great tune-up show for the CD release show.

There are still tickets available for the June 4th, Middle East, downstairs, CD release party through Ticket Master. The Middle East is in Cambridge Mass, on Mass Ave near where it intersects with Main St (no to far from MIT).
