well I've had the port covered before, and it severely muffles the sub, the box is sealed very well, and that is it's only means of breathing. It's a good way to make your mom happy if she rides in the car, I just put a box in front of the hole and voila, no sub :)

At the moment, i have a Kicker Solo-baric 10L7

I like it, clean sound. Though its being powered by an old Jensen amp, it works, but im sure a new one would be better.

I have run a number of different sub brands and cominations in the past. I currently Have the audiophile system that I replaced the stock 8" sub with a kicker. I am in the process of putting together a new system. I am going to try a Image Dynamics IDQ12 in a sealed enclosure.

Naw I like my two Fosgate, I just need a bigger amp. They hit pretty good and I don't want much watts through my subs. As longest it makes heads turn, I'm ok, because I already getting death with the bass. Although I think one more 10" sub would be nice.

I have looked into those brands and have decided to try the Image Dynamics. I looking for more of an SQ or SQL setup rather than a SPL setup. I figure that if I try the IDQ 12 and don't like it I will sell it and go another route. For the cost of the IDQ 12 verses the others listed it is worth a try. (I am also not at all a fan of Rockford subs had them a long time ago didn't like them, My buddy has two tens in his truck and I am not impressed with them at all, Neither is he)......................................

Just a rough look of what the box looks like... sort of... dimensions aren't exact. But you can get the idea.

I would have you design me one but i can't build them for shit...so i would be right back where i started......but does anyone know where i can get a good looking one for the trunk of an 2000 SE ported? If not no big deal would just make my job easier lol.....And i am also thinking about putting in a 7 in flip out screen and navigation with a voice recongniton system and 2 way PS3 capable monitors in the head rests....anyone got stuff on that?

All i have heard is that the hook up for the PS3 in any car is going to start at around 5grand.....cause they have to run it all to your door speakers and ur subs.
