Too bad you aren't in the area, we could look at some ideas for my Grand Prix. I has an 8 speaker Bose system in it, but it wouldnt hurt to add a little thump to it
I wouldnt mind having some type of in-dash set up where I could connect to local TV stations when Im out chasing storms, but I would MUCH rather have in-dash LCD screen set up that connected to a desktop PC installed in the car, touch screen and all with Wi-Fi capability so I could just pull up in the hotels in the area and connect and get the info I need.
I saw a family member on the wifes side that had a WRX set up with a small LCD screen connected to a desktop under his passenger seat that he used to play audio stuff with. Was quite the set up and it got me to pondering a set up like that for storm chasing. audiojunkie wrote: I help for free.....that why I ask...Im MECP certified.....and I LOVE CAR AUDIO..and Fiberglass...and MDF MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

It whines a lot, but I like it
That's the fun part of having a new system, installin' it picturin' how great its going to sound when I'm finish. I bought a new headunit, took less than 10 minutes to install. Looking forward to do less than 45 minutes on components.
It's easy, just pry off the interior lamp and a torx screw will unscrew the screw holding the base, just be easy when installing new base, don't wanna break the wire.
It is actually that simple - Dan and I have removed antenna off many a junk yard Focus - installation is just as easy - these focus antenna break off very easily - usually due to the cold and then hitting it w/ a snow broom/brush or hand.
