yes ....it will reduce road noise and keep the door panels from vibrating allowing more usable sound from the speakers to be heard.

I love tweed as well.

 

The sound deadener improves bass response as well. If you sound deaden the inner and outer panel of the door, you will deffinitely feel a night and day difference.
