I'm looking for any information about the Aux. input on the baseline CD player that came wtih my '05 ZX3-S.  I'm interested in hooking up my Palm Tungsten E2 PDA up to play music through that (I have 512MB for a memory card dedicated to music and Real Player installed).  I can get whatever patch cable and do it up hopefully this weekend before I head up to Maine for a graduation party.

Also, is it hard to take the stock unit out to do whatever is necessary?

special ford removal keys are needed to remove the radio...they are like 5 to 7 bucks at any audio store and walmart sells them i believe also.  I dont know anything about the stock headunits having an auxillary in...However comma...you can use an FM modulator to pump the signal into your radio...on like 88.9 FM Mhz

No, the 2005 stock system does not have the easy pull-out holes!!

I don't see how to take this radio out.  Do I have to pry around the molding and unscrew it or something? Are there screws somewhere to take the molding / radio out?

AFAIK, from reading the manual, looks like I have the AUX input, but I would like to explore to make sure I have it.  If not, I'm sure I can stealth a FM modulator somewheres and hopefully it will work with my Tung.

Ok nevermind that...you got to gnetly pry off the trim around the radio then there will be 4 screws two on each side...then the radio should pop right out.
