I have (2) 8ohm speakers (JL 10w0)...
Each speaker is 125watts RMS...
I know I need to parallel wire them to drop them to 4Ohms... That would leave me with a single positive and a single negative wire coming from my box...
Questions:
1) If I get a 2-Channel amp, would I take that single pos and neg and bridge the channels?? or could I just run each 8Ohm speaker to it's own channel without parallel wiring them??
2) Should I get a 2-Channel amp that is rated (125watts x 2 @ 4Ohms RMS) or do I need to find a amp that is (125watts x 2 @ 4Ohms PEAK)
3) Would it be easier to get a mono amp so I don't have to bridge anything?? If so, what watts would I be looking for??
Also, I'm trying to spend under $200 for this amp so the cheapest amp I can get would be great... This is for my girlfriends car and she can't afford alot...
If anyone has any amp idea's with websites, please post them!! I need this amp ASAP... Trying to finish installation before I ship out (Military)...
