im looking at putting a line output converter behind my factory head unit and using my rear speaker leads so i can run an amp and sub. buying and installing a aftermarket headunit is out of the case because i had my last one stolen.

my question is, can i use the line output converter and still have my rear speakers work? is it possible?

My question is also about rear speaker leads. I have an alpine v-12 bass drive amp, just a little guy only peaks at like 300 watts, anyway i have the inputs on my amp for the speaker wire inputs,

Can I splice the rear speaker wires to run the rear speakers and the amp at the same time? or is this generally not a good idea?
