Wait a minute, if people can tell jokes and talk about the French, Muslims, the Polish, and everyone else, why are Jews "off-limits"? Thats ridiculous.
Well then, we should not allow any jokes pertaining to race, creed, heritage, religious background, etc.. If one group cant take a joke, then that ruins it for everyone else.
This way nobody will be able to consider themselves "off-limits", or think they get some special treatment/consideration. I'd hate to make an environment where we have to be "PC" and walk on eggshells for special groups or interests. I prefer the fair environment myself.
After all, this forum is titled "Tell-A-Joke". If you cant take a joke, stay the hell out.
How was that joke offencive to Jewish people? I told it to a couple of my Jewish friends and they all said "Why is this a Jewish joke?". But I suppose if you were getting negative emails about it it was just as well it was removed.

well since i'm the MOD of this cubbyhole, i want everyone to get along, no one to be offended and no one to feel the least bit uncomfortable reading any joke. therefore, i make a motion that we close this forum down as the latest victim of PC run amok....
